Brandon University has decided to pass a bill through the Senate panel at Brandon University to enable students to receive awards from Brandon University.
Brandon University has passed a bill to award a scholarship known as the Afghanistan Mission Memorial Awards to prospective students or students who lost their parents or guidance in Afghanistan. In contrast, their parents or guardians were members of the Canadian Forces.
The Afghanistan Mission Memorial Award at Brandon University was established to create awareness and tell others that Brandon University does not discard the sacrifice paid by Canadians while they fought in the war in response to peacekeeping and in diplomatic service in Afghanistan.
Brandon University has taken it upon itself to create the Afghanistan Mission Memorial Award to ease the expenditure of families and students who were deeply affected by the conflict across this country and Nationwide.
Vice-President of Academic and Research at Brandon University states that through the creation of the Afghanistan Mission Memorial Award scholarship the management of Brandon University honors the death and sacrifices of all those who paid the price with their lives in the man which includes both genders.
The Afghanistan Mission Memorial scholarship at Brandon University would offer eligible and suitable applicants total school fees for their undergraduate bachelor’s degree at Brandon University.
Please note that the Afghanistan Mission Memorial Award scholarships at Brandon University will be given to any interested applicants or prospective students whose parent or guardian was once a member of the Canadian Forces staff who fought in the war but died as a result of the Afghanistan or parents/guardians who died while training for the ongoing mission in Afghanistan.
However in as much as Brandon University is offering the Afghanistan Mission Memorial Award, please note that the Afghanistan Mission Memorial Award would only be given to full-time and part-time undergraduate bachelor students who are undergoing or about to apply for their first undergraduate course at Brandon University.
Interested applicants or prospective students for the Afghanistan Mission Memorial Award would be suitable to apply if they have graduated from secondary school and resumed their undergraduate bachelor’s degree at Brandon University before they attain 21yrs of age.
Interested students who wish to renew and continue the Afghanistan Mission Memorial Award at Brandon University must have a maximum of 120 credit hours, as long as the interested student is able to retain their Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.0.
