This scholarship covers only one year of study for the applicant and only students who are already enrolled at Coventry University.

This scholarship is assessed based on academic achievement and is available to students who achieve 160 UCAS points or more and is available to students who achieve a certain level of A-Level or equivalent qualifications.
This scholarship can also be awarded to incoming students who have the potential to be exceptional students at Coventry University.
Vale of Scholarship & Eligibility:
The scholarship is worth £1,500, and to be eligible. When the eligible students are selected, a cash payment will be made in one instalment in the second term of the first academic year.
Candidate’s Eligibility For The Academic Merit Scholarship:
- The applicant must either be enrolled at Coventry University or have received the letter of acceptance to start their first year of an undergraduate course in the academic year 2022/23 at Coventry University campus or Coventry University London **
- The candidate must provide evidence of high academic achievement and must have attained at least 160 UCAS points or above*
Candidates That Are NOT Eligible For The Academic Merit Scholarship:
- Students enrolled to study at CU Coventry, London or Scarborough or with Coventry University Online or Coventry University Wroclaw.
- Students enrolled for a Foundation Degree or Foundation Art and Design course.
- Students on an undergraduate foundation year (that is students that have not been fully admitted as a full-time students at Coventry University.
- International / overseas students.
- Students already hold a degree qualification. That is, postgraduate students are not eligible for this scholarship. This is strictly an undergraduate scholarship, so each student must be applying with a postsecondary certificate.
- Students studying on a franchised or validated Coventry University course at another institution (e.g. Coventry University College)
- Students that are not liable to pay the complete tuition fee (that is, students already on grants, government scholarships etc.)
There will be no requirement to submit an application form as students will be identified automatically by the University and contacted after enrolment to confirm awards. It is an academic merit scholarship, so your academic transcripts would speak for themselves.

- Amazon Future Engineer Bursary:
This is a gender-specific scholarship for women who are interested in the field of computer science to study at Coventry University.
The Amazon Future Engineer Bursary programme supports female students, especially from low-income households who wish to study computer science or related engineering course at Coventry University.

- Electrical and Electronic engineering.
- Software Engineering.
- Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology.
- Business Computing.
Eligibility For Amazon Future Engineer Bursary:
- The candidate must be a female student.
- The female student must show proof of financial inability(as this scholarship is strictly for intellectual candidates who cannot afford their studies)
- A parent must receive state benefits or you have been continuously eligible for free school meals since the start of your post-16 studies.
- The student must be applying to study any of the eligible courses.
Value Of Scholarship;
The value of this scholarship is £5000 per year of the candidate’s study and it covers up to four years of study, in any computer science or related engineering course at Coventry University.

- Coventry University Sports Scholarships:
This scholarship is for both sports and academically in June students, who have managed to hold onto good grades while being exceptional in sports.
To be considered for one of these scholarships you must be competing in a sport which is part of the BUCS Sport, Olympic Sports or Paralympic Sports programmes.
It is also important to note that although this scholarship is awarded based on sports excellence, it is tied strongly to your grades. If you gain this scholarship and you begin to slip up on your grades, you stand the chance of losing this scholarship.
Why? Even though this scholarship appreciates sportsmanship, the major purpose of Coventry University is to develop you academically, so once the university scholarship board reviews your scholarship after each year (your scholarship is reviewed yearly to consider if you are still holding up the criteria for the scholarship) and you are found to have slipped up on your stellar grades, the scholarship can be withdrawn as a means to ground your focus.
Value of Scholarships:
The Coventry University sports Scholarships are awarded competitively to approximately 40-45 students each year who have the sporting ability to represent the University at a high level.
The scholarship offers £1,500 or £3,000 in a mixture of a cash bursary and support services per academic year.

- Flying Start International Travel Grant:
This is a maintenance loan restricted to 1st, 2nd and 3rd-year undergraduate students who are undertaking international travel during their course of study.
At Coventry University, some courses would require you to transfer campuses, and this grant exists to support such students. Students from their 4th year and above at Coventry University, are not eligible for this scholarship.
- AZIZ Foundation Scholarships:
Now I know that almost all the funding opportunities stated in this article have been restricted to undergraduate students, but not this one.
This is specially reserved for postgraduate intellectuals and this is funded by AZIZ Foundation.
This scholarship offered by AZIZ Foundation is however restricted to Muslim postgraduate students at Coventry University.
The purpose of this scholarship is to curb religious strife and combat Islamophobia.
AZIZ Foundation Scholarships for postgraduate are awarded to exceptional Muslim students who are active in their communities and are committed to raising aspirations and combating Islamophobia.
