2. Global Minds Doctoral Scholarships Programme 2022
This Scholarships Program is available for only talented and exceptional students who want to pursue a Ph.D. degree.
This scholarship program was created and aims at providing an opportunity for students to conduct their research partially at their home institution and partially at KU Leuven.
Place of scholarship
This Ph.D. The scholarship is awarded at KU Leuven.

– Tuition fee to help selected applicant cover their study program for three years
– Multiple insurances
– Allowances for travel
– Research allowance which will be given every month.
Eligibility
– All applicants must be a citizen of one of the countries included in the VLIR-UOS scholarship country list.
– Applicants who are citizens of the EU are excluded from this scholarship and will not be selected.
– Applicants with a long-term residence permit at EU will not be considered for this scholarship.
– Applicants’ latest Master’s degree must have been awarded not more than ten years before 1 October
– Applicants must have been awarded an academic grade equivalent to High Distinction or higher.
– Applicants whose degrees are obtained with a final score equivalent to second class second/lower division will consider.
The selected applicant research projects must be of excellent academic quality, with a special focus on the development relevance of the proposal.

3. Ghent University scholarship Grants for Developing Countries
These scholarship awards are provided to students from all countries included in the OESO-DAC list.
This scholarship program is exclusive to applicants who want further their academics by pursuing a master’s degree program
Ghent is an expensive city and the cost of living is very high in Belgium ( most especially housing and living costs).
This scholarship fund is called ‘Top Up Grant’ because It should be the Top Up of your financial means (It’s highly advised for applicants to have some extra funding).

€ 1000 monthly.

The selected student will be awarded €1,000 per month to help cover their tuition fees and every other cost under their course of study.
This scholarship award includes other benefits such as

For this scholarship student, will be paying the tuition fee for EEA students.
Eligibility
New students who wish to pursue a Master’s or Master-after-Master’s degree at Ghent University.
– The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree before applying for a Master’s program at the University.
– Applicants should have a Master’s degree when applying for a Master-after-Master program.

4. University of Ghent Doctoral Scholarships 2022
The University of Ghent scholarship grant is strictly for students who are willing to pursue a Ph.D. at the University.
This scholarship program which also happens to be granted is a “sandwich scholarship”, giving students access to carry out partial research at Ghent University and partial research from their home university.
This scholarship award program is for 2 years.

€300 monthly

The selected student will be awarded €300 per month to help cover their tuition fees and every other cost under their course of study.
Other benefits include
– Monthly allowances of up to €310
– Travel expenses of up to €800.
This scholarship program is partially funded meaning only the finances of the research which will be carried out at Ghent University for 24 months would be covered.
