Direct Entry Screening Form Requirements for Benson Idahosa University

1. Candidates/individuals should have at least five credit subjects at either WAEC/NECO/NABTEB in not more than two sittings. 

The five subjects obtained must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology/Agric Science, and physics

2. Candidates must have a pass either in GCE or HSC/HND in Chemistry and biology.

3. Candidates who already have OND results either in Agricultural, Fisheries, Forestry, and Wildlife will be eligible to apply.

4. NCE in (Agric. Science) from a well-known College of Education, NND or HND from a reputable College of Agriculture, Fisheries, Forestry and Wildlife with at least a credit pass

.

5. HND or NND in the Science (Chemistry, HND or NND Zoology, Botany, or Biology) would also be taken into consideration

 1.   candidates/applicants should have the required O Level results.

2. Candidates should also have National Diploma (OND) in English with at least Upper Credit.

3. Candidates could also have a National Certificate of Education (NCE) in English from any well-known Institution with at least a credit pass in one teaching subject. 

4. Candidates should also have overall merit pass either in NCE, Two Advanced Level passes in GCE including Literature in English and any other Art Subject.

2. Candidates admitted through Direct Entry would spend a minimum of three years and must have NCE results with at least credit level passes in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

3. Candidates/applicants must have at least two GCE “A” level passes either in Chemistry and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, or Chemistry and Biology.

Candidates who also have OND results either in Chemistry or Biochemistry would also be considered for admission.
