Ekiti State University (EKSU) Final Year Clearance Procedure For 2021/2022 Academic Session
Getting started with your clearance and rounding off with it as a final year student can be somewhat overwhelming, especially when you have just finished with the rigorous project research work and defense.
If you are a final year student of the Ekiti State University and already asking questions of where, how, and when to begin your clearance, then a double-barrel Congratulations! to you.
Firstly, for getting to the ultimate year of your studies and secondly, for stumbling on this page; a quick guide to everything involving clearance at the Ekiti State University.
In this post, I will write in very simple terms; the Ekiti State University (EKSU) Final Year Clearance Procedure for the 2021/2022 Academic Session.
However, before you even think of starting your clearance, you need to make sure your name is on the graduating list. You can confirm by checking with your HOD or your Faculty.
Once you’ve confirmed your name is on the list, you can proceed with your clearance.
How to Start the Ekiti State University (EKSU) Final Year Clearance For 2021/2022 Academic Session
1. Go to Senate building and submit all your school receipts for confirmation.
After confirmation, you will be directed to make some payments namely;
1. Clearance fee: about #2,350
2. Notification of Result #7,350
3. Advancement and Linkage #525
2. Visit the school portal and generate Remitta invoice for the three payments at any cyber cafe or with your phone. You can pay using your debit card or through the bank using your RRR number generated.
During payment, make sure all your details are entered correctly.
After payment, Photocopy the receipt given to you by the bank as you will need it later.
3. After payment, go to STUDENT AFFAIR BUILDING (you will see it along UBA ROAD) with your clearance fee and notification of result receipt.
At the student affairs building, You will be given a clearance form which consists of 4slips.
Fill out the form and attach 4 recent passports to the four slips.
4. Go to the Alumni building and collect the teller, you will pay 100naira for it.
Fill it,
Go to UBA, pay #2,500, after confirmation, you’ll be given a receipt in exchange for the teller, and they will sign and stamp on the form.
When you collect the stamped receipt, staple the receipt with your clearance form.
5. Go-to sports block(besides access bank) collect teller from them and make payment of #500 to the assigned bank
6. Visit your Faculty and pay for faculty clearance, it is about 3000 naira or more, depending on your department. Payment should be made to your department secretariat or make inquiry about it
After which you submit your form with your HOD to sign.
Remember to staple the receipt to your clearance form and proceed to sign
Follow this order to sign with the faculty officer.
You might need to submit it and come back the next day or whenever you are asked to.
7. Next is the Library,
Go to your faculty library with your faculty library card and pay 200naira to collect a slip, in absence of a card, you’ll need to make payment of 500naira at the SCHOOL LIBRARY.
After that, go to the university (school) library, you will be asked to make a payment of 200naira (if you have a library card) or 700naira (if you don’t have one)
(PAYMENTS IS STRICTLY WITH POS OR BANK DEPOSIT)
They will SIGN and STAMP afterward
8. Go to the BURSARY
You will have to ensure all your receipts are confirmed before going to the bursary.
staple the receipts with your clearance form and submit them with BUSARY for confirmation.
You might need to come back the next day to collect it.
9. Go to the internal audit office (close to old lt1 art) with all your school fees and portal due receipts.
After confirmation, they will sign and stamp.
10. Next is to pay #200 for G&C at UBA Bank (account number is written in the bank)
After payment, go to the G&C office (CLOSE TO INTERNAL AUDIT OFFICE) for stamping
11. Go to the security office and make a payment of #300 to the Designated Bank, make a photocopy of the receipt. Then they will sign and stamp it.
12. Go to EXAMINATION AND TRANSCRIPT OFFICE, submit your form and wait for them to sign and stamp it
13. Go to the STUDENT’S AFFAIR OFFICE
Submit your form and wait for them to sign and stamp it for you.
After the last step, once you’ve signed and stamped, they will take 2 slips and give you the remaining 2 slips out of the 4 slips on the clearance form.
With that, you go to the Senate Building to submit the last slip for conclusion.
