Eko University of Medical and Health Sciences, Ijanikin has released admission forms into undergraduate studies[utme/direct entry] and postgraduate studies.

Undergraduate studies admission form is now available at the Eko University website, however, certain requirements must be met before candidates could apply either through JAMB or direct entry into 200 level of their choice of department at Eko University.

Individuals also interested in postgraduate studies are not left behind, they can now proceed to the Eko University website at www.ekounimed.edu.ng and apply for the admission form into postgraduate studies.

Admission Form Requirements into Postgraduate Studies

1. Candidates who have either first or second class degrees in relevant departments from a well-acknowledged University would be admitted into the postgraduate studies either into MSc/MPH/M.Med. 
2. Candidates applying for admission form into postgraduate studies on the basis of MSc/MPH/M.Med must either have a minimum score of B grade or (CGPA) of 3.5 in the appropriate department.
3. Candidates who neither have a minimum of B grade or  CGPA of 3.5 shall not exceed above Masters’s degree at Eko University.

 In official cases, Eko University may request results of academic records as well as necessary reference letters as part of the requirements before candidates may proceed to apply for admission form into PhD programmes.

Admission Form into Undergraduate Studies

1.  Candidates must ascertain (5) credit passes in either SSCE/GCE/WAEC/NECO in suitable subjects such as; English language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and at not more than 2 combinations of O level results for admission into the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences

2. The Management of Eko University is likely to interview students alongside the undergraduate[JAMB] requirements to check their eligibility status before gaining entrance into any department at Eko University.

         Direct Entry Admission Form Requirements 

1. Candidates that applied for direct entry admission form into the department of Medicine and Surgery could either possess a degree in Basic Medical Sciences, Nursing Sciences, Physiotherapy, Biological Sciences, Zoology not less than a 2nd class.

2. Candidates who also possess either an advanced level GCE/ HSC passes in Biology/Zoology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics, with good grades is also fit to apply for the admission form.

3.   Candidates who also have a JUPEB result/certificate JUPEB with not less than credit passes in appropriate courses such as  Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Mathematics.

4. Candidates applying for direct entry admission form into the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences should have at least NCE at credit level, ND and approved equivalents with at least Lower Credit in relevant fields.

5.  Candidates applying for direct entry admission form into the Faculty of Basic Medical Science and possess either an IJMB result or certificate/ JUPEB result or certificate and have not less than a credit pass in necessary courses such as; Biology, Chemistry, Physics / Mathematics, Or other Foundation Programmes recognised by the Eko University.
