The management of the Federal University of Otuoke has encouraged applicants seeking admission into any Post Graduate programme at the Federal University Otuoke must attain the following criteria for specific programmes in various Departments:
PSG Program
Possess five (5) O/Level Credit pass in at least five subjects that must compulsorily include English Language and Mathematics irrespective of the course of study (Arts/Humanities or Sciences);
Postgraduate Diploma
i. At least a Third Class Degree in a related field
ii. HND holders with a minimum of Upper Credit from recognised institutions may also be considered.
Master Degree Programmes
A First Degree in any recognised university with a grade not lower than Second Class Lower Division (2:2).
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) Degree Programmes
A Master’s degree from any recognized university with at least 60% or CGPA not less than 4.00 on a 5-point scale, or at least 3.50 on a 4-point scale.

Federal University Otuoke, or any other approved University with at least a Second Class Honours Degree or Third Class in the related
Discipline. For HND holders a minimum of Lower Credit is acceptable in the relevant Departments.
Master’s Degree Programmes:
An applicant for admission to a Masters Degree Programme shall be a
graduate of Federal University, Otuoke, or any other approved university with no less than Second Lass (lower Division).
Masters of Philosophy Degree Programmes:
An applicant for admission to the Master of Philosophy Degree

Deadline For FUOTUOKE Post-HND Admission
The sale and submission of completed Application Forms with all necessary
enclosures will expire on Friday, January 28, 2022, and, any candidate whose original transcript does not reach the School of
Postgraduate Studies at the Federal University, Otuoke, before the
admission exercise begins will not be considered.
Conclusion
Candidates should kindly note that per the University regulations, they must satisfy the O’Level requirements for matriculation into first degree programmes of Federal University, Otuoke, i.e. Five Credit passes in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings including English Language and
Mathematics (where required).
