Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, candidates must meet all of the following criteria:
- Postgraduate Degree: MPhil, MEng, MSc, or relevant industry experience would be an advantage. Applicants must be interested in engaging in the project’s interdisciplinary nature, but expertise in all aspects is not required or expected.
- The Food Consortium CTP Scholarships are open mainly to students resident in the UK. Although international students from EU countries can apply, no more than 30% of projects can be allocated to international students due to funding rules.

Benefits and Award
The University provides a tax-free stipend of £16,062 plus a £1,400 enhancement from an industry sponsor, support for tuition fees at the standard UK rate (now £4,596 p.a.), and an allowance for the purpose of research.
The University will cover the difference between the UK and international fees if an international student is appointed.
