Switzerland For International Students:
Since I have already established the fact that Franklin University is fair and acceptable to international students, you might be wondering, how does Switzerland treat foreigners?
According to international students, Switzerland was listed as one of the best places to receive higher education, however, there is a problem.
Although a good command of English would guarantee entrance into the country, there might be a little bit of a language barrier considering the fact that English is not the major language of the Swiss.
The common languages spoken are:
- German
- French
- Romansh
- Italian
So you should consider this before making your decision (although to study at Franklin University, a good command of the English language is required in any of that out, but if you hope to seek employment opportunities, then you should consider picking up one of the languages.)
Requirements For Franklin University Scholarship:
- Resume/Curriculum Vitae
- Personal Statement
- Official transcripts
- Two recommendations
- The applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record.
- The students must submit scores on the following English language proficiency tests:
- IELTS – 6.5
- TOEFL – 90 (as I said above, English is required over the four main languages of Switzerland. So worry not.)
Scholarship Deadline:
All Applications need to be submitted by May 31, 2022.
Conclusion:
I saved the best for the last. Apart from being funded by Franklin University, the recipients of this scholarship will also have the opportunity to earn an additional CHF 2,000 for the Spring semester, for engaging in one of the several projects around sustainability and responsible management through the University and our external partners.
