1. University of Helsinki Scholarships for International Students

The Helsinki Scholarship is for students who want to study at the University of Helsinki especially international students. . Grants can be applied for when applying for the University of Helsinki’s Masters’s programs.

2. University of Tampere Scholarships for International Students

This scholarship is for students who need to pay tuition fees for Master’s degree programs offered in English. The number of those to be admitted is not specific.

3. University of Oulu Masters Scholarships for International Students

Finnish scholarships are aimed at Masters’s undergraduate students at Oulu University for a two-year international Masters’ program.

To secure this scholarship, students must have completed a 55 ECTS by the end of the previous academic year. If you are not qualified and intend to complete your Master’s degree program, you must pay the full international tuition fee.

The number of awards usually varies depending on the field of study, from 10 to 40.

4. Protein Science International Masters Scholarship at University of Oulu, Finland

The Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine faculty has established the Protein Science International Master’s Scholarship Program to offer scholarships to highly skilled international students pursuing international degrees at this University. In addition, they do not charge tuition fees for international undergraduate students who begin their studies in the autumn semester.

Up to 15 places are offered in the Master’s International Protein Science and Biotechnology program, and up to 15 Protein Science International Master’s scholarships are available.

5. University of Helsinki International Student Scholarship Grant

The University offers a Master’s Degree Scholarship Program as an International Student Grant. In addition, they offer approximately 50 scholarships for qualified students accepted to study in the International Qualifications Program.

The UNU-WIDER Visiting Ph.D. Fellowship Program allows medical students enrolled to use the resources at UNU-WIDER to conduct their Ph.D. or thesis research and work with researchers in both areas of interest. Visiting Ph.D. students usually spend three consecutive months at UNU-WIDER before returning to their home institution.

During their time in Helsinki, Ph.D. students prepare one or more research papers and present a seminar on their research findings. 9. Finland Government Scholarships for International Students

The Scholarship program is open to young researchers from all walks of life. However, the scholarship cannot be included in Master level courses or Postgraduate studies/research. The application form for the Finnish Government Scholarship Pool is not an application for study/research placement, and it’s just a funding request.
