The Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa (FUOTUOKE) has not yet released the date for her Convocation Ceremony for 2021/2022 academic session.
About FUOTUOKE
The Federal University Otuoke is a Nigerian University founded by the federal government, in February 2011. It is found in Otuoke, a town in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Southern Nigeria.
The university is one among the nine new Federal Universities founded by the Federal Government of Nigeria under the administration of Nigeria’s former president, President Dr. Good luck Jonathan.

However, we can’t forget in a hurry her last iconic convention that was held on September 21, 2019.
Where the institution graduated 1,121 students from the various faculties of humanities, social sciences, education, engineering, and management sciences and its departments.
And with 72 students of the Federal University Otuoke (FUO) in Bayelsa state graduating with first-class honors, 462 graduated with second class upper honour, 503 students graduated with second class lower, while 84 students of Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa (Fuotuoke) graduated with third class degrees.
As stated by Seth Accra-Jaja, the vice-chancellor of the university,
“The ceremony was said to be a combined convocation of students who graduated during the last three academic sessions of the university
During the conference, he also went further to state that the convocation was delayed because of the death of the chancellor of the institution in 2015.
In his words;
“After we scaled through the huddle of having a new chancellor, other issues like industrial action by members of staff also contributed to the delay
The vice-chancellor also went ahead to say that since his assumption of office, 16 programs had been introduced into Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa (Fuotuoke) and approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC), with the aim of making the university a world-class institution in academics, research, and development.
He said that the stringent measures put in place as well as the amicable relationship that exists between the Students and lecturers in the university has motivated the students to take class attendance and other academic work seriously.

Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa (Fuotuoke) is however gaining popularity in the aspect of releasing spectacular news to the public, this is in line with their recent expulsion of students which involved a first-class student in the malpractice scandal.
