The vice-chancellor Prof. Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye of Igbinedion University wishes to invite students, parents, and the entire public to its 2024 Convocation Ceremony as an award would be handled to both bachelor degree Graduands, postgraduate Graduands too, the award will be given out too.
The 2024 Convocation Ceremony of the University will be held at the Igbinedion University Main Auditorium hall, Okada.
Please note! That the 19th Convocation Ceremony of the Igbinedion University, okada would be held virtually, only Graduands would be allowed to be physically present.
Events of the Convocation Ceremony at Igbinedion University, Okada
The main event is slated to kick off on Friday 26th November,2024. On the 26th of November during the Convocation Ceremony, the first Convocation Ceremony Lecture on the topic; Global Developments [implications for Nigeria and Capacity Building].
The first Convocation Ceremony lecture would be given by Babs Omotowa [vice-president, shell international, and former manager of NLNG] time is10am prompt.
On the 26th of November awards, first degrees, and prices would be handed out by the Vice-chancellor himself.
On the 27th of November,2024 the second Convocation lecture will hold on the topic; Higher Education and Career Advancement in the 21st Century.
The lecture will be taken by H.E. Prof. Sarah Anyang Agbor[commissioner on education, science, technology, and innovation, African union commission.] time is also 10 am prompt.
27th November 2024, Convocation Ceremony for the Award of Higher Degrees & Conferment of Honorary Degrees which would be handed out by the Vice-chancellor.
