Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a full-time Ph.D. program, you must have;
- Completed Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computer science, or related field
- Strong knowledge of RNA folding algorithms and RNA-RNA interaction
- Good knowledge of algorithms using suffix arrays for mapping (complementary) sequences to genomes
- Machine learning
- C++ or C and Perl or Python
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix environment, command lines, and shell scripting
- Good people skills and team player skills.

Benefits
The University of Copenhagen will provide salary and pension. Other terms of employment are determined in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and the AC or other relevant organization.
Currently, the monthly salary starts at DKK 35,624/approx. €4,781 (April 2022 level). Depending on the qualification, an additional fee can be negotiated.
The employer contributes an additional 17.1% to your pension fund.
