- The University of Calgary Award for International Students Athletes
Students who applied and received the scholarship would receive up to $10,000 which would cover their school fees.
University of Calgary award for international student-athletes would only be awarded to 3 eligible students.
The scholarship is awarded to eligible undergraduate international students at the University of Calgary who are participants of the dinos athletic team and have the necessary English Language test results.
Students who are athletes and wish to apply for the scholarship must apply in their first year of undergraduate study which is part of the eligibility requirements.
The University of Calgary Award for International Student athletes is not for students who are Canadians or received a permit to reside in Canada but it is for 3 lucky international students who are supposed to pay a differential fee.
Any requirements that international students must fulfil is that they must possess an admission average per cent not less than 80%.
While international students who transferred to the University of Calgary and want to apply for the scholarship must have a grade point average not less than 2.00.
Continuing students are also expected to have a grade point average of 2.00 and above from both semesters as an undergraduate full-time student at the University of Calgary.
- University of Calgary International Undergraduate Award
Students who apply for the award will receive a scholarship of $5,000. University of Calgary international undergraduate award would be awarded to about 20 lucky and eligible students.
The award is yearly given to international undergraduate students regardless of the faculty at the University of Calgary.
Students who are participating in the international foundation program are not fit to apply for the University of Calgary International Undergraduate Award.
The Undergraduate award is not for students who are Canadians or received a permit to reside in Canada but it is for 20 lucky international students who are supposed to pay a differential fee.
The scholarship is not for international students in their first year of undergraduate study at the University of Calgary but for students either in the 2nd,3rd or 4th year of undergraduate study.
- Margaret Saunders Bursary in Education
Students who applied and received the bursary would receive up to $16,000. Margaret Saunders Bursary in Education will only be awarded to 1 lucky and eligible student.
The award is offered yearly to an international student who is currently at the Werklund School of Education and wants to study at the University of Calgary but is requested to pay a visa differential fee.
Students who wish to apply for the Margaret Saunders Bursary in Education must possess good academic qualifications and must submit documents that reflect their financial situation.
Students must be entering or transferring either into their 2nd,3rd or 4th year before they would be considered eligible.
- University of Calgary Alumni Association International Student Bursary
Students who applied and received the scholarship would be awarded up to $5000.
University of Calgary alumni association international student bursary would be awarded to 6 lucky and eligible candidates
The award is for continuing students about to resume their 3rd or 4th year in their undergraduate studies in any faculty present at the University of Calgary.
Students who wish to apply for the scholarship must possess good academic qualifications and must submit documents that reflect their financial situation.
