However, Lead City University has set a benchmark, each candidate must meet before gaining entrance into each department in the University.

Lead City University has a Joint Admission Matriculation Board cut-off mark of 160, candidates must have at least a Jamb score of 160 and above before they would be considered for admission into a particular department.

Requirements into Departments at Lead City University

Candidates wishing to apply into any of the departments at Lead City University must have either GCE/SSCE/NABTEB/NECO with credit pass in 5 subjects like; English Language, Mathematics, and 3 other subjects either in Arts/Social-Science/Science in not more than two sittings. 

Candidates applying through direct entry into any of the departments listed below must have requirements such as; University Diploma/NCE/IJMB/OND/GCE ‘A’ Level/ Bachelor degree before they would be eligible for admission into 200 levels of their choice of department.

Candidates awaiting O Level results are also eligible to apply, as long as results would be out before the admission process begins.
