Legacy University located at Okija, Onitsha-Owerri expressway, Anambra State, Nigeria has released its admission form only into its undergraduate department.
Legacy University, still upcoming and yet to expand, has released its admission form into undergraduate courses/departments for the time being.
Legacy University is still restricted to a few faculties and departments, but interested candidates looking for a new, affordable, and reliable University could consider Legacy University as they have proven to leave a legacy, just for the few years of its existence.
I would be giving you basic requirements for some departments and faculties at Legacy University, and how to know if you could be eligible to apply.
Requirements for Admission Form at Legacy University, Okija
Read the requirements/conditions below and know if you are eligible to apply for admission form into Legacy University;
FACULTY OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES
- Microbiology
O level results
Five credit grades in subjects like English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics in not more than 2 combinations of SSCE results.
JAMB UTME
Candidates applying directly through JAMB UTME to 100 level should ensure they write UTME subjects such as; English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Direct Entry
Candidates who would love to apply for direct entry into Legacy University should ensure they possess the necessary 5 credit grades in their SSCE results, with Two ‘A’ Level GCE C grades in Chemistry, and Physics/Biology.
Persons who also have ND/HND specifically (Upper Credit) either in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Biology, Microbiology/Science Laboratory Technology/Physics and Geology
- Biochemistry
Direct Entry
Candidates applying for direct entry admission form into the Biochemistry department at Legacy University should have the required O level results written below, and should also possess either a 2 ‘A’ level GCE C grade in Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates with ND/HND/bachelor’s degrees in relevant study or field would also be admitted.
O Level Results.
5 credit grades in subjects like English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Biology in not more than 2 O level requirement in SSCE results.
JAMB UTME
Candidates applying for Biochemistry 100 level should ensure they write or register in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Physics With Electronics
Direct Entry
Candidates applying for direct entry at Legacy University should have either a 2 ‘A’ level GCE C grades in Physics, Mathematics/Chemistry.
Candidates or applicants who have ND/HND (Upper credit) either in Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/Geology would be granted admission into Physics with Electronics 200 level department.
O Level Results
5 credit grades in SSCE results in subjects like English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in not more than two SSCE result combinations.
JAMB UTME
Candidates should register and must have written subjects such as; English Language, Physics, Mathematics, and either Chemistry or Biology
FACULTY OF ARTS, MANAGEMENT, AND SOCIAL-SCIENCES.
- Accountancy.
Direct Entry
Candidates applying for direct entry form into the department of Accountancy 200 level should either possess 2‘A’ level GCE C grades in Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Mathematics, and Geography.
Candidates who also have OND/HND/bachelor’s degree in Accounting with Upper Credit would be allowed to apply for the admission form into the department of Accountancy.
O Level Results
Candidates should ensure they have 5 credits in SSCE results in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, and Commerce.
JAMB UTME
Candidates must register or must have written subjects such as; English language, Mathematics, Economics, and accounting.

- BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Direct Entry
Candidates applying for direct entry into the 200 level department of Business Administration should have 2 ‘A’ level passes in Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography.
Interested applicants who have either OND/HND/bachelor’s degree with Upper Credit in Business Administration will also be admitted into the University.
O Level Results
Candidates applying for admission form at Legacy University should have 5 credits either in WAEC/NECO/GCE in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, and Commerce.
JAMB UTME
Candidates should have written or registered English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and Commerce.
- Public Administration
Direct Entry
Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Government, Geography, and Statistics.
O Level Result
Candidates applying for the admission form into the Department of Public Administration should have 5 credits in WAEC/NECO/GCE in English Language, Economics, Government, Mathematics, and Commerce.
JAMB UTME
Candidates must have written or registered Government, Economics, English Language, and Commerce.
In conclusion, candidates must ensure they possess a jamb score or cut-off mark of 160, to enable them to gain admission into any of the departments listed above.
