Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program is awarded to applicants who wish to apply to a College or University located in Canada or applicants who are already studying a full-time post-high school diploma or pre-degree program at a Canadian college/University in any of the semesters.

One of the eligibility requirements for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program is that applicants must be residing permanently in Canada. Please note that the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program 2024 is hosted in Canada.

Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program would be awarded depending on the total number of applicants who were found eligible for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program. Applicants who are found suitable for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program would receive a scholarship fee of $1,500 from Loblaw Companies Limited.

Eligibility Requirements for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program

Before candidates would be eligible for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program they must be registered for a full-time post-secondary school diploma or are about to apply full-time for an undergraduate course of study at a public University or College that is located in Canada.

Candidates who wish to apply for Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program must also hold or possess at least up to 70% educational average score in the final class at their secondary school. Candidates who have 70% in their former year when they studied at a public University or College located in Canada are eligible to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program.

Candidates willing to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program must show documents that show that they volunteered in other activities such as;

Applicants or candidates who want to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program could participate or volunteer as a coach for a youth sports team.

Applicants who want to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program could also volunteer in becoming a leader or counsellor for a youth group.

Applicants who wish to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program could also participate in helping to arrange and plan events for their community or they could also participate in garbage clean-ups in the community, and food collection drives in their community as part of their volunteering activities.

Applicants who want to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program could also participate in unpaid work or participate in labour outside the school environment in organizations like UNICEF, WWF, and others.

Applicants could also volunteer in unpaid activities which are related to religion within their communities.

Applicants who want to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program must be citizens of Canada or must be living permanently in Canada.

Applicants must submit all application forms for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program before the closing date of the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program before they would be found eligible for the scholarship.

Applicants who are CEGEP students and wish to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program are free to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program as long as they are about to graduate from their CEGEP school and are willing to apply to a public University or College located in Canada. CEGEP students or applicants must also meet the other necessary eligibility requirements for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program.

Applicants who are awaiting their permanent residence permit to stay in Canada and want to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program are eligible to apply BUT must ensure that before the date set to award Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program scholarship to successful applicants they have already received their permit to become permanent residents in Canada.

Applicants who want to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program but are about to register or are studying in a University/College that is located outside Canada cannot apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program unless they are attending a public University or College in Canada.

Applicants or candidates who are attending a post-high school that is not in Canada the following year as a part of their 1-year program overseas and want to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program

may apply as long as they are studying an exchange course as part of their study scheme at either a public University or College.

Applicants should note that the diploma that they would graduate with must be from either a University or College that is located in Canada and not outside.

Applicants or candidates who want to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program and are planning on taking a year off to rest due to one circumstance or the other and have submitted their application form for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program are not eligible to receive the scholarship.

However, applicants can re-apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program after they have ended their resting period and fulfilled all the eligibility requirements listed above.

Applicants who are willing to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program but are employed in one department or the other at the Loblaw Companies Limited or are relatives to employees at Loblaw Companies Limited

and are willing to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program are eligible to apply as long as they fulfil all requirements necessary for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program.

Please note that graduate students who want to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program application form but are studying either a Masters’s course or PhD course are NOT eligible to apply for the Loblaw Scholarship Fund Program application form as the Loblaw Companies Limited does not award Scholarship to applicants who are graduate students.
