Nile University School of Basic studies/ Preliminary Studies for the 2021/2022 academic year.
This programme is an intensive full-time course designed for prospective students seeking admission through direct entry into any university. During the 9-month programme, students are exposed to a wide range of skills and knowledge of subjects related to the programme they wish to study in the university.
The programme content contains a blend of Nigerian and Foreign and A ‘Level courses, enabling students who have met the requirements to gain direct entry admission to 200 Level at Nile University or any other tertiary institution of their choice within Nigeria and overseas (particularly the UK).
Eligibility for Nile University, Basic Studies/ School of Preliminary Studies
Admission Form 2021/2022 Academic Session
• Those who possess a minimum of five (5) credits in English, Mathematics, and three (3) other relevant subjects in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/IGCSE or their equivalent obtained at a maximum of two (2) sittings.
• Those who do not have JAMB but wish to gain admission to the university through direct entry
• Those who wish to switch between disciplines (e.g from the Arts to Sciences)
