Nile University, Department and Jamb Cut Off Mark 2021/2022 Academic Session

Nile University has no department cut-off mark but has different JAMB cut-off marks for different departments in the University.

Although there are no department cut-off marks, the Management of Nile University has still outlined a list of basic requirements each candidate must possess before they would be admitted into their choice of department at Nile University.

Since each department at Nile University has different JAMB cut-off marks, candidates are advised to go through the list of JAMB cut-off marks for each department at Nile University before applying for admission into any of the programs.

The Management of Nile University has announced the appropriate JAMB cut-off mark for each department for the [aca-year] academic session.

Faculty of Engineering

• ·         Department of  Computer Engineering

• ·         Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering

• ·         Department of  Civil Engineering

• ·         Department of Petroleum & Gas Engineering

• ·         Department of  Chemical Engineering

• ·         Department of Mechanical Engineering

• ·         Department of  Mechatronics

• ·         Department of  Architecture

                  JAMB Cut-Off Marks

candidates with a JAMB cut-off marks such as 120-140 applying for Nile University’s Engineering programs will be given conditional admission.

·         candidates with the above JAMB cut-off mark that gained conditional admission into the faculty of Engineering at Nile University must complete extra 6 hours of additional classes every week on three subjects and fulfill the required duration for each subject; Mathematics (2 

hours), Physics (2 hours), and Chemistry/Biology (2 hours). 

Faculty of Natural & Applied Sciences:

• ·         Department of  Biology

• ·         Department of Biotechnology

• ·         Department of  Chemistry

Candidates with a JAMB cut-off mark of 120-140 who applied for faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences at Nile University will be given probational admission into Nile University. 

·         candidates with the above JAMB cut-off mark that gained probational admission into the faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences at Nile University must complete extra 6 hours of additional classes every week on three subjects and fulfill the required duration for each subject; Mathematics (2 hours), Physics (2 hours), and Chemistry/Biology (2 hours).

College of Health Sciences:

• ·     MBBS Medicine & Surgery- JAMB cut-off mark of 200
• ·     Department of  Human Anatomy- JAMB cut-off mark of 140
• ·     Department of  Human Physiology-JAMB cut-off mark of 140

Faculty of Law:

·     LLB Law- JAMB cut-off mark of 160

Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences:

• ·         Department of Economics-JAMB cut-off mark of 120

• ·         Department of English Language & Communication Studies

• ·         Department  Mass Communication
