Postgraduate research program in urban bat ecology
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Become an international student
- Have an offer of admission on doctoral studies at the Faculty of Science
- Be willing to research the social dynamics and traits associated with bat species occupying urban bat houses in Sydney.
- You must have a Master’s degree in a related field with a significant research component.
- Applicants know about bat ecology, including acoustic bat recorders and analytical software.
- Students have an externally funded scholarship that funds tuition and living expenses.
- Be willing to research urban environments and wildlife enclosures that require night work and work at heights.
- Must be willing to be vaccinated against the Lyssa bat virus.

This scholarship will provide an annual stipend of $5,000 (fixed rate) per year for up to three years and is subject to satisfactory academic performance.
