Professor Mike Walker’s OBE scholarship is available to the full-time international postgraduate student or part-time postgraduate students who applied for postgraduate courses at Royal Holloway University.
Professor Mike Walker OBE scholarship for either Home or International fee status, studying for one of the courses available at Royal Holloway University, at the School of Engineering, School of Physical and school of Mathematical Sciences.
Professor Mike Walker OBE scholarship It is awarded to successful international postgraduate students as a school fee reduction up to an amount of £12,000 (if the tuition fee is less than £12,000 the scholarship will only cover the amount stipulated for the tuition fee for the international postgraduate students).

Professor Mike Walker successfully completed his BSc in the school of Mathematics at Royal Holloway University and after his BSc, he became the second Ph.D. student to be supervised by Professor Fred Piper at Royal Holloway University.
Professor Mike Walker obtained his Ph.D. at Royal Holloway University in the year 1973.
Throughout Professor Mike Walker’s career in the industry, Professor Mike Walker maintained his unending interest in academic research and for many years he held the Vodafone chair as Professor of Telecommunications at Royal Holloway University, as part of the ISG. In the year 2002. Professor Mike Walker played a key role in founding the ISG Smart Card Centre which continues today.

Please note that only international postgraduate students applying to study for their first Masters’s degree at Royal Holloway University will be considered for the Professor Mike Walker OBE scholarship.
In conclusion, successful international applicants will be awarded a school fee reduction of up to the value of £12,000 after they must have successfully registered for the Professor Mike Walker OBE scholarship.
While for part-time international postgraduate students the Professor Mike Walker OBE scholarship will manage their school fees for their first two years of study at Royal Holloway University.
An international postgraduate student who receives full fee reduction as part of the Professor Mike Walker OBE scholarship will not be given any school fee discounts which also includes no alumni discounts in conjunction with the Professor Mike Walker OBE scholarship at Royal Holloway University.
