Sanders Prize in the History of Early Modern Philosophy scholarship grants is given to students who want to pursue a master’s, Ph.D. degree program in the field of History of Early Modern Philosophy.

This scholarship is valued to be $5,000.
The sum would be awarded to the selected applicant to help support their tuition fee payment.
It should be noted that it is not fully funded, it is partial.
Applicants should have an extra fund for the program.

The Sanders Prize Scholarship grant in the History of Early Modern Philosophy is an essay competition that is open to outstanding students who are within fifteen years of receiving a Ph.D.
This competition is also open to students who are currently enrolled in a graduate program.
Independent scholars are also qualified and also eligible for this competition and should direct their inquiries to Donald Rutherford, editor of Oxford Studies in Early Modern Philosophy at drutherford@ucsd.edu.
The winner of this award will be getting the sum of $10,000 and their essays will be published in Oxford Studies in Early Modern Philosophy.
Notes
All applicants submitting essays must present original research in the history of early modern philosophy, interpreted as the period that begins roughly with Descartes and his contemporaries and goes to the end of the eighteenth century.
All Essays should be no more than 7,500 and 15,000 words.
Since winning essays will appear in Oxford Studies in Early Modern Philosophy, submissions must not be under review elsewhere.

Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds Ph.D. scholarship grants are offered to students who want to pursue a Ph.D. degree in the field of biomedical research.
This scholarship was created and provided by Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds (BIF)
Eligibility
– The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds Ph.D. scholarship grants are open to EU citizens working in Europe or overseas and to the non-EU citizens pursuing their Ph.D. projects in Europe.
– All applicants must be 26 and below or a maximum of 27 years of age.
– The Ph.D. project of the applicant must be in the field of basic biomedical research
– The project should be aimed at elucidating basic biological phenomena of human life in acquiring new scientific knowledge.
– Applicants who are natural scientists should have been awarded their diploma, BSc, MSc
– Applicants without the above degree should have a degree equivalent to either veterinary surgeons and pharmacists
– Applicants are expected to clear their state examinations.
– The applicant should not have been working on his/her project for more than 6 months.
Requirements
– All applicants should include the title and summary of the Ph.D. project in an essay not more than 1,400 characters/ words.
– Applicants should submit a summary of their final experimental thesis either from their bachelor’s, diploma, or master’s thesis.
– Applicants should submit certificates of all academic qualifications
– They should also include the grades and certificates of professional education taken them before university.
– A recommendation letters from the supervisor of their Ph.D. thesis, supervisor of the diploma, or equivalent thesis.
– All applicant’s documents must be submitted in PDF format
– All applicant’s documents should be written in English.
Selection criteria
The achievements and academics of the applicant are taken and will be put into consideration.
The quality and originality of the proposed Ph.D. project will be considered.
The laboratory scientific standards in which the project is to be pursued are also put into consideration.
