Scholarship Benefits for Ethiopian Students in Norway
- Once students are found eligible for any of the scholarships in Norway, they would receive a scholarship fund equivalent to what a Norwegian student would receive.
- The scholarship will pay for students’ flight expenses in the following categories;
- Flight expenses incurred, when students enter Norway to study, would be refunded back to the students in full amount.
- Flight expenses incurred, when students are travelling for research purposes during their course of study in Norway, would be paid by the scholarship.
- Flight expenses incurred when an Ethiopian student decides to visit his or her home country, within 3 months after their study in Norway, would also be paid by the scholarship.
- Ethiopian students who were found eligible for the scholarship will receive 40% of a scholarship fund, while the other 60% will be received by students as a student loan, which would be repaid by students without interest.
- However, Ethiopian students may not necessarily have to pay back the student loan IF they decide to travel back to their home country after their course of study in Norway.
