Sokoto State University is also known as SSU has released its admission form for both its undergraduate program and postgraduate program.
Today, I would be specifically talking about admission forms into the postgraduate program(PG) at Sokoto State University.
The management of Sokoto State University uses this medium to invite all suitable and eligible persons to apply for the admission form into the postgraduate program at Sokoto State University (SSU).
Postgraduate Admission Form Procedures at Sokoto State University.
- Applicants or interested persons should pay a visit to Sokoto State University Postgraduate School Portal at: www.pgs.edu.ng
- Applicants or interested persons should select the start new applicant tab button to create an account at Sokoto State University.
- Applicants or interested persons should fill in the necessary biodata and proceed by clicking on the Register button.
- Applicants or interested persons should ensure they use their Username & Password to login into the admission form portal.
- Applicants or interested persons would be asked or required to upload their recent passport and signature.
- Applicants or interested persons should proceed by clicking on the generate invoice tab button then select confirm and generate a unique customized unified payment reference ID number will be generated.
- Applicants or interested persons should select the menu Pay Now or pay arena web tab button to make an instant payment or print your invoice and proceed to any of the banks on the invoice to make payment.
- Once candidates and interested persons are done with the necessary payment, they should log in to their accounts, an application number will be generated. so candidates could upload their biodata, O-level and A-level records.
- Applicants and interested persons should update their academic certificates.
- Candidates or interested applicants should input the necessary details of 3 referees on the form provided.
- Candidates or interested persons should select the final submission tab after that candidates should print their acknowledge form for accountability purposes.
Postgraduate Admission Form Requirements.
- Interested persons or candidates for admission into Postgraduate programs must provide records of Academic Transcripts and must have met the matriculation requirements and admission form requirements listed above.
- Interested persons or candidates for admission into Ph.D. programs should l have at least a Master’s degree in relevant areas with a CGPA of not less than 3.0 on a scale of 5.0.
- Candidates or interested persons applying for admission form into Master’s degree programs should have a minimum of Second Class Lower degrees in the relevant areas.
- Candidates or interested persons who have a Postgraduate Diploma or Third Class degree (with at least five (5) years of cognate work experience) from any renowned University would be allowed to apply for the admission form into the postgraduate program.
- Other requirements interested persons should also have in life are the following which is listed below;
- Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant area.
- Third Class degree in the relevant area.
- Qualifications are other than I and ii above which are acceptable to the University.
