Guidelines on How to Study In Canada Without IELTS. 

Applicants who want to study in Canada without IELTS must fulfil the requirements shortlisted below;

1. Interested applicants should conclude their former 5 years of academics at the English language medium Institute.

2. Interested applicants must submit another different English language test score to replace IELTS, but the English language requirement would be dependent on the University. 

3. Interested applicants who want to study in Canada without an IELTS, must submit a proof of document to the University that they are from a country that speaks the English language as their common language or native language. 

4. Interested applicants who want to study in Canada without IELTS must register for an English language course offered at a Canadian based University.

5. Interested applicants who want to study in Canada to further their studies without IELTS should submit a certificate that shows that they had undergone another English language proficiency test in place of IELTS.

Applicants should please also take that each University has different English Language requirements.

So in this section, I would be listing a total of 9 Universities located in Canada that applicants could apply for without  IELTS and I would also be listed other English language requirements for each University that are considered instead of IELTS. 

1. Carleton University 

Applicants who want to study in Canada without an IELTS can submit other English language test requirements such as; ESL/TOEFL iBT/PTE, CAEL /CAEL-CE test score or English language proficiency test certificate in place of an IELTS certificate.

Carleton University retains an acceptance rate of 21% while the application form for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Carleton University is 110,000 dollars.

2. University of Winnipeg

Applicants who want to study in Canada without an IELTS can submit other English language test requirements such as; TOEFL, Duolingo, C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency, CAEL, CAEL-CE, and CanTest, AEPU CE, PTE, and ELP. 

The University of Winnipeg retains an acceptance of an application form fee of 100 dollars (for residents), and 120 dollars (for foreigners).

3. Brock University 

Applicants who want to study in Canada without an IELTS can submit other English language test requirements such as; PTE, TOEFL, CAEL, CAEL-CE or CanTest.

Brock University retains an acceptance rate of 73% depending on the number of applicants that applied for that academic year, with an application form fee of 100 dollars. 

4. Memorial University of Newfoundland 

Applicants who want to study in Canada without an IELTS can submit other English language test requirements such as; C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency, CAEL, TOEFL, Duolingo, CanTest, and MET.

Memorial University of Newfoundland’s acceptance rate is extremely fierce, while the application form for the Memorial University of Newfoundland is 60 dollars for residents and 120 dollars for foreigners. 

5. Algoma University 

Applicants who want to study in Canada without an IELTS can submit other English language test requirements such as; CAEL, Cambridge English, DET, TOEFL and PTE.

Algoma University’s acceptance rate is picky while the application form for Algoma University is 70 dollars for residents and 125 for foreigners. 

6. Brandon University 

Applicants who want to study in Canada without an IELTS can submit other English language test requirements such as; C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency, CanTest, EAP, PTEA, TOEFL test scores, CAEL, CAEL-CE. 

Brandon University has an acceptance rate of 47.5%, while the application form is 70 dollars for residents and 140 dollars for foreigners. 

7. Cambridge College 

Applicants who want to study in Canada without an IELTS can submit other English language test requirements such as; TOEFL, PTE and Duolingo are required in place of IELTS. 

Cambridge College is extremely picky when selecting students while its application form is 95 dollars for both residents and foreigners. 

8. University of Saskatchewan

Applicants who want to study in Canada without an IELTS can submit other English language test requirements such as; TOEFL iBT, MELAB, CAEL, CanTest, PTE Academic, CAE and Duolingo. 

The University of Saskatchewan has an acceptance rate of students of 45% while the application form is 90 dollars for both residents and foreigners. 

9. University of Regina

Applicants who want to study in Canada without an IELTS can submit other English language test requirements such as; ELP, PTE, MELAB, TOEFL iBT, ESL, DET and CAEL.

The University of Regina has an acceptance rate of about 80%-90% and it’s not picky in its selection of applicants while the application form fee is 100 dollars for both residents and foreigners.
