Value of Teesside University International Development Scholarship Grants 2021/2022
The scholarship offered by Teesside Is valued at three thousand pounds (£3,000).
It is open for both international students pursuing a certificate either as an undergraduate or postgraduate study and for all successful applicants, it is allocated as a form of scholarship waiver in your first full academic year of study.
However before you can apply for this scholarship, you must hit some stimulated benchmarks.
If after you have applied for admission into Teesside University (and you have been accepted), then you meet the criteria below, you will automatically be considered for this scholarship.
Eligibility For Teesside University International Development Scholarship Grants 2021/2022:
- You must be enrolled at Teesside University for a postgraduate or undergraduate course available at the University or, you must have received an offer to study.
- You must be a full-time sponsored or self-funding student, paying international fees starting your course in September 2022 or January 2023.
- You must be applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate programme, applying to study at Teesside for the first time.
- You must be applying from one of the countries eligible for this scholarship (it is listed below.)
- You must have a Foundation Degree or a Higher National Diploma or a good honours degree (at least a 2.2) in a subject related to the field of study.
- A required English language proficiency level of IELTS 5.0 or equivalent in an alternative English language test.
For this scholarship, although it is stated as ‘international’, not every country is eligible to apply and below is the list of countries eligible for this scholarship.

Eligible Course for Teesside University International Development Scholarship Grants 2021/2022
Any undergraduate or postgraduate programmes of your choice, so long it is offered at Teesside University l.
How to Apply For Teesside University International Development Scholarship Grants 2022-2023:
Students must submit their applications via the UCAS portal or through the university’s application portal.
Supporting Documents Required For Teesside University International Development Scholarship Grants 2022-2023:
- Academic transcripts of all the previous schools attended.
- A copy of my passport.
- Letters of recommendation.
- Personal statements.
Conclusion:
This scholarship cannot be paired with any other scholarship offer at Teesside University, and if you already have a preexisting scholarship, you would have to give up on it.
Furthermore, if you have already applied for Teesside University, you don’t need to start applying for this scholarship from the beginning. If you meet the criteria above, you will automatically be considered for this scholarship.
Finally, students on a foundation/pathway programme at Teesside University International Study Centre are not eligible for the scholarship but will be considered for the scholarship when they transition to a full degree programme at Teesside University.
