The number one prerequisite for every Nigerian student during their admission process is to know the cut-off mark of their choice university. However, it is important to note that the general cut-off mark of Nigerian universities differs based on the department/faculty’s cut-off mark.
WHAT IS A CUT-OFF MARK?
The cut-off mark is the minimum score decided by an institution as the prerequisite before being eligible to participate in their admission programs.
The official cut-off mark for jamb is as follows:
∙ Federal, State, and Private university: 150

If you fall into the group of 150 and above situated mark for university, 130 and above for polytechnics, and 120 and above for college of education, I will love to congratulate you as this first qualifies you and makes you eligible to get admission into most higher institution of your choice.
