What to Know About the University
The University of Bedfordshire was established in August 2006 followed by the merging of the University of Luton and De Montfort University’s Bedford campus.

Luton campus
In the year 1908, the Luton Modern School was founded.
Luton Technical Institute was established in the year 1937 and after there was a change of name it then became Luton College of Technology in 1958.
In the year 1976, there was a merging between Putteridge Bury College of Education and Luton College of Higher Education to become one college.
The college became the University of Luton in the year 1993 after receiving university designation.
Bedford campus
The founding of this campus goes back to Bedford Training College for Teachers in 1882 and Bedford Physical Training College in 1903.
The campus is home to over 2,900 students and has great facilities, a comfortable atmosphere, and a proven track record of outstanding teaching and graduate employment.
Putteridge Bury
The history of this campus goes was back to the time of Edward the Confessor and has its links to the Domesday Book.
In the year 1965, it was acquired by Luton Borough Council and opened as Putteridge Bury College of Education in the year 1966 and was merged with Luton Technical College to become the Luton College of Higher Education, in the year 1978.
Very little teaching takes place there but it is now home to our University Graduation Ceremonies and University seminars.
Milton Keynes campus
Milton Keynes campus was officially opened in the year 2013, and its location was at the center of Milton Keynes close to shops, businesses, and local amenities. This campus is equipped with great facilities such as high specification teaching rooms, laboratories, a large general-purpose computer lab, and extensive Learning.
Aylesbury campus
At the university, most of the health courses are being in taught at Aylesbury.
Healthcare students now take their classes in the element of their course at Stoke Mandeville, while getting the time to experience life in an integrated Trust area that help provides a range of specialist, acute, and community services.

Benefits and Value of Scholarship
The University of Bedfordshire will provide the following to the successfully selected applicant with the following:
£2,400 for 60%+ average marks in high school (or equivalent)
£1,400 for 55%+ average marks in high school (or equivalent.
