Value of The University of Bedfordshire Academic Merit Scholarship:
The award price (or investment price) is a cash prize of twenty-four thousand euros (£2,400) that would be awarded for your undergraduate study at the University of Bedfordshire. This academic merit scholarship worth £2,400 is awarded over 3 academic years, as a reward to those students who can demonstrate a high level of academic achievement, by scoring 112 UCAS tariff points or more.
This is a free scholarship grant for 3 years of study which you don’t have to pay back.
However, the scholarship or bursary is not payable during a year out from on-campus studies, such as the Professional Practice Year and the amount awarded is based on academic merit and UCAS tariff points accumulated before entry.
This academic merit scholarship offered by the University of Bedfordshire is only for international students, international undergraduate students who are either currently enrolled in an undergraduate study at the University or postsecondary school students who have received an offer or are still waiting for the offer to study at the University of Bedfordshire.

- You have to be a postsecondary school student who has completed high school education (12 years) and has a pass equivalent to two UK A level passes, and have the required English language qualification.
- You must meet the English language requirements of which the UKVI Academic IELTS overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each element, is accepted.
- You must meet the specific entry requirements for the course you are interested in.
- You must submit a comprehensive portfolio that showcases your creative skills and why you would like to join that specific department. (The portfolio should contain a maximum of 15 samples of work.
- A personal statement which should explain why you have chosen your discipline and where you might like to develop in your time at the University of Bedfordshire.
- A selection of your student projects (if requested)
- A selection of your professional work (if requested)
- A brief, illustrated explanation of any research you have undertaken
