1. International Presidential Scholarship
The University of Maine is offering several Scholarships to motivate outstanding and talented academic performance.
Benefit and duration
This scholarship sums up to $15,000 for the duration of one academic session.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for International first-year students and transferred undergraduate students
Students for either of the two states will then be likely considered for this scholarship.
Please note that;
Students that are being sponsored and students that are receiving the Canadian resident tuition rate are not eligible for this scholarship.
How to apply
The successfully selected candidate will be considered for this scholarship based on their admission application which will then be reviewed by the university.
There would be no additional application required.
SAT and ACT scores won’t be needed before an applicant would be considered for this scholarship.

– This scholarship award is for a maximum 4 academic years only for students who are entering their first-year

– The applicant for the award must also be a non-immigrant student and must have a visa F-1 or J-1 to be eligible for this scholarship.
This scholarship cannot be combined with any other international scholarship.
Only athletic or departmental scholarships of the university are allowed to be combined.
2. The International Flagship Scholarship
This scholarship was established to assist students with outstanding academic performance.
Benefits and Duration
This scholarship award is sum up to $10,000
It is given for each academic session to the selected applicants for their tuition fee.
This scholarship award is for 4 academic years for the first-year applicant and for transfer students it is for 2 academic years.
Eligibility
Only International first-year students and transfer students undergoing an undergraduate study program are eligible to be considered for this scholarship.
It should be noted that
Students who are receiving the Canadian resident tuition rate and are being sponsored are not eligible for this scholarship.

This scholarship award is for 4 academic years for the first-year applicant and for transfer students it is for 2 academic years.

Students applying to study at the University.

This scholarship sums up to $12,000 for each academic session.
Eligibility
This scholarship is exclusively for only international students who graduated from high schools in Maine
Students with a high school CGPA of 3.0 and above.

The successfully selected candidate will be considered for this scholarship based on their admission application which will then be reviewed by the university.
