To help provide financial support to brilliant and outstanding students, the University of Manchester is happy to offer its International Mathematics Excellence Grants.
The Applications are now open and accepted for the academic session 2021/2022
Interested applications are advised to apply on time before the beginning of each term.
This scholarship program is open to motivated students who want to get an undergraduate degree program at Manchester.

Course description

It is a highly flexible degree program, ensuring you obtain a strong all-around mathematical knowledge while at the same time motivating you to focus on the areas that appeal most.
students get to cover core topics in the first year of entry, which helps them to develop their capacity to learn and apply mathematical ideas.
In the second year, students get to then choose two from three themes
– Pure Mathematics
– Applied Mathematics
– Probability & Statistics
along with other options such as
– Programming with Python.
Students will get to understand the significance and power of mathematics and will acquire a thorough understanding and knowledge of the mathematical topics that any employer would expect from a graduate of maths.
After the first two years, Students also can choose the areas that interest them most and, from the second year onwards, they can even select options from other subject areas.
during the final year, students also can opt to take on a staff supervisor for their mathematical project.

To be eligible, all applicants must meet the given criteria of the university
These excellent scholarships are meant only for one academic year and are awarded to the best students each year;
The decision is based on the previous year’s exam results of students
Scholarship Value
The successful applicant applying for the undergraduate degree program will get to receive the sum of £2,000 to study at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.

Intending applicants must have to take admitted to become eligible for the scholarship at the university.

All applicants are to provide supporting documents and submit their previous transcripts at the university.
The applicants must have to check the entry requirements of the university.
All international students must provide proof of English language proficiency.
All applicants Who are applying to the University (from the UK and Overseas) are required to show proof of English Language proficiency.
English Language requirement for this course is either:
– GCSE English Language grade C or, or 4.
– while IELTS for all courses are to be: 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing and nothing below 5.5
But they also accept
-An equivalent qualification.
The UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requires that every applicant from outside the UK and the EU must provide evidence of a minimum level of English Language to be granted Visa (Tier 4 visa) to study at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.
This level is often referred to as the ‘B2 level’.
Please Note that individual departments may ask for specific English Language proficiency levels that are needed for their academic program.
