1. International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

This is a merit scholarship offered to 75 eligible students, who are undergoing an undergraduate course at the University of Sheffield.

An international undergraduate merit scholarship is extremely fierce and is worth about, a 50% reduction in successful applicants’ tuition fees for an undergraduate course resuming in the next academic year.

The scholarship is available for freshers who are international students to apply. Other eligibility requirements for the international undergraduate merit scholarship, at the University of Sheffield, would be outlined below.

2. International Undergraduate Scholarship

The University is pleased to offer its international undergraduate scholarship, to interested, and eligible international students about to resume an undergraduate course at the University of Sheffield.

Successful applicants who are studying a course, under the faculty of Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences will be awarded a scholarship fund worth about £2,000 each undergraduate academic year.

While successful applicants who are in the Faculty of Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry and Health, and faculty of Sciences will receive a scholarship fund worth £2,500.

Please note, that once applicants apply for an undergraduate course at the University of Sheffield, they are automatically considered for the scholarship and no extra application form is required.

3. International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship 

The University of Sheffield is pleased to offer its international undergraduate scholarship to interested and eligible international students about to resume an undergraduate course at the University of Sheffield.

The University is pleased to offer its international postgraduate taught merit scholarship, to about 125 eligible international students about to resume a postgraduate course at the University of Sheffield.

The scholarship is extremely fierce and would cover 25% of successful applicants’ tuition fees, for their postgraduate courses at the University of Sheffield, which would commence the next academic year

The scholarship is available to postgraduate students, who are not just about to commence a course but meet the necessary eligibility requirements.

4. International Postgraduate Scholarship 2022

The University of Sheffield is pleased to offer its international postgraduate scholarship to interested and eligible international students, about to resume a master’s course at the University of Sheffield in the upcoming academic year.

Successful applicants who are studying a course, under the faculty of Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences will be awarded a scholarship fund worth about £2,000 each postgraduate academic year.

While successful applicants who are in the Faculty of Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry and Health and, Faculty of Sciences will receive a scholarship fund worth £2,500.

Please note, that once applicants apply for a postgraduate course at the University of Sheffield, they are automatically considered for the scholarship and no extra application form is required. And would receive the scholarship if they are found eligible.

Before applicants would be eligible for the scholarship, they must have accepted their admission offer into any of the postgraduate courses at the University of Sheffield before the deadline.

Eligibility Requirements for the University of Sheffield Scholarship

This section would be divided into 2, one part would contain eligibility requirements necessary when applying for an undergraduate scholarship, at the University of Sheffield WHILE the other section would contain eligibility requirements, for postgraduate taught scholarships at the University.

Eligibility requirements for undergraduate scholarships are listed below;

• Applicants’ undergraduate course of study, must commence the next academic year at the University.

• Applicants must receive an admission offer to study a full-time undergraduate course at the University

• Some undergraduate scholarships will award all undergraduate students, regardless of their course of study while, some scholarships will not fund all undergraduate departments. Hence, applicants must choose a scholarship that their undergraduate course is eligible for.

• Due to tuition fee payment purposes at the University, applicants must be self-funded to pay the overseas tuition fees at the University.

• Some undergraduate scholarships will qualify only freshers to apply, while others would qualify both freshers and students in their 2nd year to apply. Hence, do well to pick a scholarship that best fits you.

Eligibility requirements for postgraduate taught scholarships at the University of Sheffield are listed below;

• Applicants’ postgraduate course of study must commence the next academic year at the University.

• Applicants who are offering an online postgraduate taught course at the University of Sheffield, are not eligible to apply for a postgraduate taught scholarship.

• Applicants must receive an admission offer to study a full-time postgraduate course at the University

• Applicants who are studying a master’s course that is split, and taught by the University of Sheffield, and another institution are not eligible to apply.

• Due to tuition fee payment purposes at the University of Sheffield, applicants must be self-funded to pay the overseas tuition fees at the University.

• Applicants who are studying any of the course below at the postgraduate level, at the University of Sheffield is not eligible to apply for a postgraduate taught scholarship;
