University of West Australia International Students Awards 2021/2022
The University of West Australia is giving out awards to international students to encourage and help assist international students from eligible countries around the world to focus on their education either at the undergraduate (bachelor) level or postgraduate level at the University of West Australia.
The University of West Australia offers international students in accordance with the number of offers of international students awards that are available at present, which could be subject to change by the University of West Australia, while on a normal standard the international student award will be given to eligible international students seeking to get the bursary.
The University of Western Australia is offering a monetary fee of $5,000 to successful international students each year in a bid to assist with their school fees reduction from a list of countries selected by the University of West Australia.
The international student award at the University of West Australia helps to foster a diverse international student community and enables more international students from different eligible nationalities to pursue their undergraduate or postgraduate study and career goals with the University of West Australia.
International undergraduate students at the University of West Australia can get a reduction of up to AUD $20,000 off their course fees over a four-year degree or in most cases a reduced fee of $15,000 for a three years undergraduate course at the University of West Australia.
Postgraduate international students can receive a reduction of up to AUD$10,000 for two years on eligible postgraduate courses at the University of West Australia.

General Eligibility for International Students Awards at the University of West Australia.
Before international students would be able to apply for the International Student Award at the University of West Australia, they should ensure they fulfill the conditions listed below;
International applicants should be a citizen from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand or Vietnam before they can apply for the international students’ award at the University of West Australia.
International students or applicants applying/present at the University of Western Australia and who want to apply for the international student award should be on an Australian student visa.
International applicants or prospective students who want to apply for the international students’ awards at the University of West Australia must be studying an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course offered at the University of West Australia.
International students or applicants who received an offer of the international students’ award at the University of West Australia, must ensure they accept the offer of scholarship not later than 30 days after the offer.
International students or applicants who received an offer of the international students‘ award at the University of West Australia should note that the offer of the international students’ scholarship award will be withdrawn from international students if they fail to accept the international students’ award after the set deadline of 30 days.
The Chief Marketing Officer of the University of West Australia may decide to approve certain amendments to the set date or deadline for the application form for the international students’ award at the University of West Australia.
In a case where an international student or applicant is eligible for the University West Australia international student award and the University of West Australia global excellence scholarship or any other international student award at the University of West Australia, the University will award the higher international student award to an international student to help reduce the number of their tuition fees for either undergraduate or postgraduate level.
How to Apply for International Student Award at the University of West Australia
International students or applicants should submit their application form to the University of West Australia, the admission team at the University of West Australia will immediately assess your eligibility for the international student Award.
In a case where international prospective students or applicants are eligible to apply for the international student award, then the offer letter of their admission from the University of West Australia will include their International Student Award.
The international student award scholarship is provided to international students to help with their school fees discount towards the eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of West Australia
In cases where international students have multi-semester awards, they will be awarded half of the annual value of the international student scholarship each semester.
Duration of International Student Award at the University of West Australia
The maximum duration of the international student award at the University of West Australia is the standard full-time duration of the recipient’s accepted course for which the scholarship is offered which could either be undergraduate or postgraduate course level at the University of West Australia.
When a successful international student receives an offer of admission into an undergraduate [bachelor’s degree] course level from the University of West Australia, including an assured pathway into a postgraduate degree course at the University, the duration of the international student award is for the undergraduate degree course only.
When a successful international student receives an offer of admission into a combined undergraduate and master’s degree course, the international student award scholarship duration is for the combined standard full-time duration of the whole course at the University of West Australia, including the undergraduate course level and postgraduate course level components.
When a successful international prospective student or applicant receives approval to undertake either undergraduate course or postgraduate course study at a reduced load, the international student award scholarship duration will be extended for the number of semesters of reduced load up to a maximum of two additional semesters in the University of West Australia.
In conclusion, when an international student or applicant transfers from one undergraduate or postgraduate course to another eligible course at the University of West Australia, the international student will continue to receive the international student award scholarship for the original duration or the duration of the new course they transferred into, whichever is shorter, and will take into account any entitlement received at the time of transfer.
