International students applying for the international bursary in the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Creative Industries, Faculty of Education are expected to be active members of the student body at the University of West English Bristol, international students must show support towards the International Office, and also the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Creative Industries and Faculty of Education (ACE).
During graduation, successful international students will be expected to be active members of the University West English Bristol Alumni Network in order to support and help other international students in the University, and also promote its programs among prospective international students applying for the University of West English.

International bursary for international students at the University of West English is available to international students applying for Master of Arts full-time at the University, they would also receive an award fee of £5,000 for one academic year duration while the international student is studying for the master of Arts at the University of West English.
Dean International Bursary for successful undergraduate students into the faculty of Arts, Creative Industries, and Education at the University of West England would receive a bursary amount of £1,000 a year for the first two years of successful international student study at the University of West England Bristol, which was created to widen international students’ participation in higher education at University of West English and help international students to succeed in furthering their ambitions while they are at University of West England.
Successful international students after applying for the Dean BuIsary at the University of West England will be asked to complete a piece of project work around widening participation in higher education at the University of West England, using the skills they will be learning in their course level at the University of West England.
Eligibility Criteria for International Students Applying for the University of West England Dean’s International Bursary in Faculty of Arts, Creative Industries and Education
Interested international applicants can apply for the Dean Bursary at the University of West English if they are new undergraduate applicants in the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Creative Industries, and Faculty of Education.
Please note that once international applicants are offered admission into any course either in the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Creative Industries, or Faculty of Education that are found eligible by the University of West England will be sent details on how to apply for Dean Bursary at the University of West English.
While international students studying in the following master of Art courses are eligible to apply for the International Bursary in the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Creative Industries and Education;
- Master of Arts in Design
- Master of Arts in Graphic Arts
- Master of Arts in Journalism
- Master of Arts in Photography
- Master of Arts in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking
International bursary at the University of West English would be awarded to 7 international students from September in the present year, international applicants from different countries would be allowed to apply for the Internationational Bursary at the University of West English.
International students would be eligible to apply for the International Bursary if they fulfill the conditions set by the University of West English which are written below;
International students should ensure they hold an unconditional offer from the University of West English or a conditional offer also from the University of West English where IELTS /equivalent English language is the only condition.
International students should be new international students at University West English Bristol with no former UK study experience.
International students should be classed as overseas for fee purposes at the University of West English.
Internationational students must not be sponsored by international students or in receipt of another scholarship/award.
International students must provide official results at the time of application at the University of West English.
Please note that successful international candidates will need to prove when accepting the international bursary scholarship that they satisfy the United Kingdom Visas and Immigration criteria in terms of being able to cover their living costs and the remainder of the fee
upon reward of the international bursary scholarship, the successful international applicant will have 5 working days to accept the international bursary scholarship and pay their deposit at the University of West English.
How to Apply for the University of West England Dean’s International Bursary in the Faculty of Arts, Creative Industries and Education
The University of West England is looking for international applicants who have a good academic background and a passion for the faculty of arts, and the faculty of creative industries.
International students will be invited to apply for the international bursary scholarship and after doing so international applicants will be asked to upload a short video of themselves answering the following questions listed below;

In conclusion, the deadline for the application form for the University of West England Dean’s International Bursary in the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Creative Industries, and Faculty of Education is fixed on 31 May for the present year.
While successful international applicants will be notified of the success of their application form by the end of June.
Once international students have accepted the international bursary scholarship. International students will be required to pay their deposit to the University of West English Bristol within a week of receiving and accepting the international bursary scholarship offer letter.
International students or prospective students will be asked to prove that they satisfy the United Kingdom Visa Immigration criteria in terms of being able to cover their living costs and the remaining part of international student school fees.
