Although the Joint Admission Matriculation Board has withdrawn its power of setting a universal cut-off mark, it still imposed a limit on how high or low each type of university can go in setting its cut-off mark.
Essentially, Universities are now allowed to set their pen cut-off marks as long as they adhere to the following benchmark:
- Federal & State University: 160
- Private University: 140
- Federal & State Polytechnic: 120
- Private Polytechnic: 110
- Colleges of Education: 100
And in alliance with this, Pan Atlantic University has announced its cut-off mark for 2021/2022 as 160. This means that candidates who have scored a total JAMB score of 160 marks and above and have listed Pan Atlantic University as their University’s first choice are eligible to purchase the Post UTME Form.
Candidates who meet Pan Atlantic University’s cut off mark would then proceed for an internal screening exercise by the University and are up to sixteen (16) years and above are welcome to purchase the screening form.

Does Pan Atlantic University Accept Second Choice?
Yes. Candidates who did not list Pan Atlantic University as the first choice can still be granted admission in a situation where there is still an admission vacancy.
However, first-choice candidates would be considered first before others and this is only extended in a situation when admission slots were not filled by students of the first choice.
