Faculty of law is for students with senior school certificate of Education (SSCE) Certificate, General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level, or their equivalent.
However, direct entry candidates will be admitted in the second year of the department in the faculty of law, National Open University. candidates’ progress throughout the program is on a merit system.
Students when accepted into the faculty must pass a majority of all the courses in each year of the department at the National Open University before proceeding to the next year.

JAMB UTME Entry Requirements: Students applying for the four years program for the award of Bachelor of sciences of National Open University must have at least five credit (5) passes in biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, and English language in WAEC/NECO/GCE in not more than two sittings.

candidates/applicants must have the cut-off mark of 200 or above in their JAMB for them to be able to apply for medicine and surgery at National Open University.
Candidates who applied for National Open University must also have a minimum of credit in five subjects in either WAEC GCE, SSCE, or NECO[not more than two sittings]. This subject must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings.
